2nd Grade Math Practice

Wow it has been a really long time since I have made a post. I started this blog before my first year of teaching and here I am about to end my third year. The time really does fly! One thing I wanted to put on here was sort of a cover all sheet for 2nd grade math standards. I created it so I could quickly touch on several 2nd grade standards in a short amount of time. I try and do this page at least 3 times a week. At the beginning of the school year it is something we do as a class everyday. Towards the end I can just put a few things on the sheet and the students are able to complete it on their own and then we go over it together. It was really helpful to my own class and since I started it in August, by the time we got to fractions, time and money as our standard my kids already had an understanding of these concepts. It really made the teaching these standards later on SO much easier. If you want a copy of this page email me and I will do my best to get it to you!!!
